Languages that connect people and cultures
Bamboo isn't just a name — bamboo stands for flexibility and growth, and that's exactly how we approach language learning. Our language school runs two parallel programmes: Chinese for children, and Polish for adult foreigners building a life in Kraków.
Both programmes favour small groups, communication from the very first class, and teachers for whom the language they teach is a native or fluent second language. We learn through conversation, games, songs and real situations — not by memorising rules.
Small groups
Up to eight people per group — every participant has room to speak and be heard.
Native speakers & experienced teachers
Classes are led by qualified teachers with real, lived experience in both cultures.
Learning by doing
Games, songs, calligraphy, conversation — from the first minutes, language is a tool, not just a subject.
Flexible formats
In-person classes in Kraków and online, in groups or one-to-one.
Chinese for kids
The youngest learners pick up Chinese the way they learn everything else — by playing. Songs, movement games, first characters and the basics of calligraphy introduce children to the language and culture of China, with no pressure and no exams.
Little explorers
Songs, rhymes and movement games that build an ear for the language and a first vocabulary.
Young travellers
First characters, simple conversations, and elements of Chinese culture and festivals celebrated in class.
Advanced explorers
Expanding vocabulary, reading and writing, with optional preparation for the HSK 1–2 exam.
Polish for adult foreigners
For parents of our students, and for any adult building a life in Poland, we run Polish courses — from absolute beginner to fluent conversation. We teach everyday, official and business Polish, always in a practical, communicative style.

Our Polish teacher is a highly experienced PhD in Polish philology who is also a certified examiner for the Certificate of Polish as a Foreign Language and TELC. There is no other expert like her anywhere in Poland.
